What an awful day today, but home @ last.
I was stuck in a parking lot since early this afternoon with a flat tire, and with nothing around. No restaurant, no coffee shop, nothing. I waited for 7 hours for CAA. They called me about every hour and said they should be there within the hour, so I waited & waited. Their 9:00 call said they couldn't get to me till @ least 2 in the morning. Finally, I just took a cab home, which cost me $78.00 !!!!
To make matters worse, I'll have to take a cab back tomorrow to meet them. :rant::rant::rant:
:( Damn! That really really sucks. Where you stuck out in bad weather too? Wish I was in your neighborhood...I would certainly offer you a ride or take you to get your tire fixed or replaced. Have had my fair share of vehicle troubles but luckily have a pretty good network of people built up that I can call on for fix or advise.Quote:

Good morning all! Another restless night with my Ivy girl. The meds are supposed to be the kind that have to build up in the blood stream. So trying to have faith and keep being consistent. Other than mobility issues and the fact that she is clearly not comfortable, she is in good spirits and her usual self. Food hungry and tail waggy.
You are the first I have heard to win anything! There is at least 5 of us in my area of the office that make a run for coffee and there has been no joy! :( Tried the salted carmel latte this morning btw and "meh" :thumbs_down:Quote:

CAA picked me up this morning, since I had such a long wait last night.
They put on the spare, & followed me back into the city. Car's @ the dealership, but tire is not repairable.
There was a 4" slash on the inside of the white wall. :shrug: They had to order a new tire, & it comes in tomorrow.
