If I let anyone else use the BBQ they inevitably dry whatever it is out. With meat prices as they are, you definitely don't want to waste a good piece of meat.

picked up a rib eye steak from the butcher last weekend and it was $29! sure don't want to over cook that! anyways, it was enough for 2 of us and it was done medium well.

I use a digital thermometer to check for doneness. I keep seeing photos and videos about checking it using the finger & thumb method. Don't think that would work for me.

A lot better thanks. Just started re-indroducing kibble yesterday for the 1st time in over 3 weeks.
He was NOT impressed, but he ate a little this morning. Will have to wait & see how it affects his gastro-intestinal tract. Fingers crossed.

Yes! and the tv did not record anything....then the 2 trembling pups I took upstairs into my bedroom ( that lasted about as long as I could stand it since the cats could not be allowed in there at the same time ) Finally I thought the worst had fallen so brought both dogs back down. I fell asleep but I suppose the lightening and thunder show returned and I woke up this a.m. to wallpaper destroyed ( from the dogs clawing to get back up with me I guess ) Not pleased.
