Sure did! Traffic and skytrains delayed, large pools of water everywhere, lots of trees down. I was lucky and had no power issues. I heard it went out on our street briefly but I was out any ways. Still many without power for a 3rd day. I am working with people who admittedly have not had a shower since Saturday. Sure glad I have my own office and not sharing space with any of them.

Last poster is a frustrated one. We have no water as one of the workers who is working on a site near us drilled through a water main.
Now I can't do laundry! dang

I want summer back!!
Still icky, cold and rainy here although I am seeing reports on FB and out on the office floor of power being restored in certain areas...they will be happy to get a shower and a hot meal at home tonight!!
Since I didn't have to deal with that, I can save my complaining about having to ditch the summer dresses and barefeet for jeans, sweater and boots practically over night.
It takes me til mid October to embrace fall wear most years. If that isn't bad enough, I don't know how many of my jeans still fit 
Definitely not the ones I threw on today. They seemed to fit when I put them on, but I forgot I had to SIT DOWN in them for most of the day. ha ha ha Too much summer fun.

forget jeans that can fit... i'm just having trouble finding jeans! they don't seem to sell normal, plain, ordinary jeans anymore.. they're all either jeggings (i hate that "word"), over-embellished, short, long, super-flared, super-skinny.... GAH! why doesn't anyone make normal pants anymore??
