I know why too! Should we all take up a collection and get some much needed eye glasses for the ump?? That was embarrassing! Not making excuses here as we had our screw ups/errors charged but calling SO MANY balls as strikes is insulting to these pros. It just took the wind out of everyone's sails I think.

OHH!! and what did that pitcher say to Donaldson?? ( when he hit the foul fly ) I am not a lip reader but I read Donaldon's comments back to him!! ha ha

I agree. It was like he was making up his own strike zone. It was just awful.
Mind you, except for Stroman's pitching, we did not play very well. I knew we were going to lose, almost right from the beginning, but kept hoping they'd prove me wrong.

I have no idea what was said. I couldn't read Josh's lips, and the pitcher's back was to the camera, but boy, all the players reacted so quickly. They were on the field before I even knew anything had happened.

All and all, quite the let down. Unless we even the series in Texas, that may be the last game here this season.
