Hi all, had actually a great day shopping with my sweetheart. Got most of the shopping done and had a great breakfast together this morning. Funny how Christmas always helps us reconnect after a long tedious year, hope you have a good evening!

A quickie good morning to any and all that are up, and a very whispered hello to those catching more zzzz's.
Yesterday was the doggy/vet day. The first dog ( Murphy ) that had the runs is almost fully recovered, the second dog ( Rufus ) is still in the thick ( or should I say thin ) of it.

It was also time to get Rufus another large bottle of his arthritis pain meds, plus the meds to deal with his diarrhea, then that Royal Canin ( they only had a large bag.....so expensive!! ) dry bag of food that I will now have to feed both of them till Rufus gets better.....between that and the cost of blood work, stool testing ( yuck ) it is no wonder the bill was $450.00.
I should have been a vet! ha ha

Mmmm the place smells like stuffing! That was a terrible segue I know but the chicken drumsticks and wings I breaded are baking and the aroma just came wafting in here!
I used 2 boxes of Stove top stuffing and ground it up for the bread crumb part. So they went into the milk to flour to egg to the crumbs and onto the pan! Maybe I'll post this in the Food thread soon.

@walkonby - I'm glad to hear Murphy is almost better, but poor Rufus, and you for that bill. Hopefully, the meds & food will help. I can't believe you're up and cooking before 8 a.m. Sounds good though. What time's dinner?

We just got back from an adventure in the park. There were 7 dogs running around and playing, when 3 coyotes appeared. That broke up play time pretty quickly, and home we came.

Ok, I've got to get a move on. Lots to do, and a Christmas party tonight.

I would have hightailed it out of the park with my dogs too if 3 coyotes showed up. Glad nothing happened.
Oh and the early morning cooking is all food we are bringing to the pot luck tomorrow, also did up a massive chicken fried rice, sure is tough not to eat any of this today....ha ha
