If I'm not mistaken, the sales run under the liquidators go into a separate account and expenses/creditor claims will be likely reimbursed certain amounts on the dollar. I would not be surprised if there are limits eventually on cards in terms of using them because all those card terminals are likely rented too and the card percentages are remittances to the card issuers. March 31 is usually a retailer's year-end date-my guess is that when terminals will be gone (but it could be earlier if some locations start closing by Jan/Feb and stock gets consolidated at urban locations) unless the last locations still have strong traffic/fixture sales.
Use up your gift cards this weekend to be sure you get the use of them. Don't know how long they will be accepted tender.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

The last I heard, yes they will still honor them but when they were removed from the website they were also removed from the tills so they cannot scan them. They have to be manually adjusted. I would use them asap though. Originally Posted by flash67

Saddening as mine only opened 2 months ago and it is beautiful and brand new built from scratch BUT I can't wait to see what store goes in their as they will have prime real estate!!
