Potential New Earning Site: Giant Cinema! Get Paid to Watch Tv and Movies.

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about a new website called Giant Cinema that will be launching this week, on January 11th, and thought I would share this potential money-earning opportunity with my smart canuckers. The site is open to Canadians and supposedly will pay you (although how much is not clear) for watching tv shows and short and long films online on their site, plus associated ad content (ie. you'll have to watch the commercials to get paid). Supposedly it will be similar to hulu (a free tv -streaming site for Americans). You'll also be able to refer family and friends, and get 10% of what your referrals earn. It sounds like you can be paid via paypal or cheque, not sure if they'll have giftcards or other prizes.

That said, the site has not actually launched its video program yet (you can sign up but that's it until January 11th when the beta site launches), so unfortunately at this point I can not really answer any questions about how it will work, how easy it will be nor can I verify that it's an honest, worthwhile site or provide proof of payment. So for now I can't really recommend the site at this point beyond saying that at least to me it sounds like an interesting idea, so sign up at your own risk and please don't hate me if it turns out to be a total bust! I know that's not exactly a hearty endorsement but I'm just trying to be honest that I don't really know yet myself how good the site will be.
