Walmart Nation-Wide Price Match + Coupon for 73¢ Barilla Pasta!

I had a great morning at Walmart today in Vancouver price matching the Maxi flyer. I phoned the store first to confirm they would PM a Quebec store and the Customer Service person I spoke to confirmed that "yes, we do nation-wide price matching".

Music to my ears!

I scooped up 10 boxes of Barilla pasta for 73¢ each as I used ten of my 25¢ off coupons that expired today, combined with the Maxi flyer price of 98¢. I have paid over $2 a box for these before but now I have smartened up.

This was my first grocery PM and I was nervous to do it but the cashier was so friendly. I politely told her I had Price Matching and Coupons and asked if she preferred me to visit customer service instead and she said nope I can help you! Then she closed the lane after me as there were other tills open. It definitely also helped that it was 9am.

A small brag but one I was really excited about. Thanks for all the informative forums to help with PMing and coupon trading SCers and a happy new year to all!!

Yes on Grandview. That's the only WM in Vancouver-proper, I believe.

I was told by customer service that while they prefer hard copy, yes they accept a smart phone flyer, at least in my case when I specifically asked. The cashier checked the dates the flyer was in effect.

Oooh denise that is a hot price but unfortunately my local Walmart doesn't carry whole grain Barilla... Anyone else seen the non-classical types at their Walmarts?
