I found some really good quality sweatshirts made in Canada online at Northlatitude.ca.They are heavyweight and great for our cold winters. They come in several colours. I love the sandwashed colours.

Nice find but as they are made in Canada, the prices are very expensive. I bought a really warm and cozy sweatshirt, Puma brand, from Costco for $19.99.

That is a good price if you don't mind contributing to sweatshops. There has been some bad press about Puma and several other well known brands being manufactured in sweatshops. I no longer buy clothing not made in North America for that reason.

Nice but they are expensive. Do they have sales often?

I am not against Made in China products. They are at affordable prices because North American working power is more expensive than that in China. But I don't think, North American brands can leave unattended the quality of the products made by the name of their brands. And in my belief, North American countries do have a quality control for the products (I mean, brand name, of course) which enter their country (even third world countries have a quality control so Canada and USA must have that).

But, of course, I do love Canadian made products but will buy if the prices are right for my budget.

Costco often has great t-shirts made in Canada for about $12.00. Can't beat that price!
