Thanks to BlazingDriver for posting about her cards deal in the "What's Your Best Deal?"
Carlton Cards has selected cards on sale for 10 for $1.00!
I went to two different Carlton Cards locations today and stocked up on a total of 80 cards for $8.00! I now have birthday, get well, anniversary, baby shower, thank you, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and blank cards. I'm prepared for every occasion! This thread is currently associated with: Carlton Cards

That's odd, my Carlon Cards doesn't have the promo, although it has in the past

Got 20 cards at the Promenade location! Perfect, because I found a card for my dad's birthday this weekend
I was able to snatch up lots of really elaborate and expensive Papyrus cards too.
Thanks SC!

The Jackson Square location in Hamilton had lots, but you really have to have patience to sift through the boxes. There are tons of cardboard boxes full of cards, and they look like they were once in order but now... not so much. They had everything from birthday cards, baby shower, thank you, sympathy, son birthday, daughter birthday, Easter, Christmas, Anniversary, Thanksgiving, Wedding, Congratulations, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandma, Grandpa, etc., etc., etc.... It was also crazy to find envelopes for some of the cards. I spent about 40 minutes in the store and kneeling on the ground to go through the cards but came out with 30 cards for $3.00 plus boxes of with 10 Christmas Cards which were 75% off which were still $6.00 plus tax, but were nice and will be great for next year!

It does take patience but it's so worth it! Not only are 10 cent cards an amazing deal (some of the ones I bought had a list price of $7.99 on the back) but I love the fact that I'm all set for so many upcoming special occasions. I won't have to go shopping for a card every time there's a birthday, anniversary, etc. because I've already purchased the cards in advance . . . plus, today I sorted and organized my 80 cards by month/category. Bring on those special occasions!
