Went to a different Target today. The seasonal storage bin aisle was nearly cleared out, and a lot of shelf tags were missing. Scanned a large 75 L red and green storage bin, and it was $2.49. I bought the nine that were left.

went to Target today and got a bunch of fairy wings that would be perfect for a little girls birthday party for 30 cents each, also some plastic cupcake headbands for 44 cents each, they were in the stationary section, also pinatas were 50% off

In the very back corner of Target, I found seasonal boxes of 20 medium Zip lock freezer bags for $1.84. Containers were $2.49. Had $1.50 off WUB 2 coupons plus $1 CO51 for containers.
Christmas Sterlite storage was already labeled 50% off and was 50% off that price when scanned. Yay!

i think it was under 2 weeks... i'm waiting for it to hit 70% off any day now...
i did notice though they have significantly less christmas stock this year then they did last year (last year the department looked soo full as if it was just set up on boxing day this year there are significant empty spaces, along with just a lack of stock... last year they had those big pumpkin sized pallet boxes filled with wrapping paper this year they didn't, less premium papers... less gift boxes and bags)When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

Same thing happened a number of years ago when Target opened in Bellingham, Washington. The first Christmas was a clearance bonanza. The following years -- not so much. They seem to figure out their required stock levels pretty quickly.
My Target has very, very little Christmas merchandise left. I can't imagine there will be much left to mark down to 70% this year, let alone 90%. Last year was a lot of fun....Last edited by DianneS; Mon, Dec 29th, 2014 at 05:08 PM.
