Here's my rundown on clearance from tonight in Langley:
Coleman instant shade tent (reg 99.99) for $29.99
Boys bike helmet (reg $34) for $9
Trash Pack set (my boy loves these things) 50% off for $6.99
Pillsbury raspberry turnovers $1.xx
Conair mini travel curling rod (reg 19.99) for $4.99
Conair mini travel hair straightner (reg 19.99) for $4.99
Irish spring body wash scanned cheaper than clearance sticker at $2.xx (plus used P&G coupon)
Mini wheats 1.49
Junior sleeping bag for $11.99
Baby purex laundry soap (64 load) was shelf priced at $8.99 but scanned at 6.xx
Spider-Man and Hello Kitty fleece blankets (with arms) reg 9.99 for $3
The staff at Langley are top notch. Even tonight they were asking if I needed any help but the store was in a bit of disarray which was sad to see as it's always been neat and tidy. Must be those pajama wearing shoppers .Last edited by Basicangel; Sat, Jan 17th, 2015 at 01:50 AM. Reason: Spelling

I've lurked this thread for a very long time but thought that I should finally sign in to say that I'm also really upset that Target is leaving. The staff at all the stores I went to were always so helpful, cheerful and friendly. The stores were always clean. Their clearance deals were always so awesome.
The store I went to today had a power outage so they were running on auxiliary power which made for a very odd and sad shopping experience. The entire mall was lit except for Target. The cashier looked like she had been crying and I had no idea what to say to her. It didn't help that the store was so busy today too. It made me mad that people never gave Target a chance and decided to come in now to check out these "liquidation deals." They were always there!
Anyways, I found some Christmas cookies for 19 cents, most camping items were at 70% as everyone else mentioned. Not many new deals.

Glad you came out of lurk mode It is sad and that must have been eery and funeral like shopping in low light.
I have heard the same thing so many times about the staff there. They really are cut from a different mold. I had nothing but amazing service always, but even more so the through this tough time the last few days has got to be for them. In talking to staff, they really don't know which way is up. They are getting direction for outside sources they are not use to hearing from, things are inconsistent from one minute to the next and they just keep on keeping on. They have more duties now with stock and pricing and refunds and public relations, not to mention picking up after "the pajama-ed" ones. Yet they aren't getting more staff coverage for it. I just wish I could give jobs to all of them

I wonder if they will be getting stock in? Things that are ordered already and can't be stopped from shipping until the court order. Wonder if we would see any easter stuff or seasonal gardening stuff? Stuff in transit from China takes 6 weeks to get here usually.

Question:
If liquidation is starting in 2-3 weeks, does that mean there is only 2-3 weeks left of the 50-70% off? So the valentines stuff will probably most likely not go down to 90% off like I was really looking forward to?

As others have said - there doesn't seem to be any one sure plan! Who knows what will happen. But now I DEFINITELY do not regret a single summer, fall or winter clearance "I'll use this next year" stock-up! Going on Monday to get as many toddler clothes as I can... Hopefully most of the locusts will be at work during that time 😉

If anyone is looking for baby shoes (like the leather Robeez ones), there is another brand (can't recall the name), but they list they are made with geuinine leather, on clearance for $5.09, reg. $16.99 and marked $11.xx but scan at $5.09. They are with the socks and shoes for kids. Lots left! small, med, large.
