Stationary is cleared off the shelves. Some end caps have a little selection of party/stationary but most has been cleared out. I saw them doing it on Friday.

We stopped there Saturday afternoon and stationary was on an end cap aisle near the vacuum cleaners. They were on clearance. Gift bags, note cards, security envelopes, wedding invitations, baby shower invitations, pirate stuff, fancy tape dispensers etc.

Thanks for the info, when you say no Dyson, were there no Dyson in store, or that there were Dysons instore but non of them on clearance. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Yes, the Dysons are in the store. They were not on clearance at the front of the store. The hand held Dyson was on clearance a month ago-- another SC wrote about that clearance.

Yes, that's right.
Very minimal compared to what was in the actual aisles.
All clearance stickers are also removed from the aisles themselves and put on those end caps or out of the stores

They had Maxx cat litter on clearance last weekend and by this weekend hit.... all gone.
Their pet section is basically empty now! haha

Mara Mi stationary packages, 10 count, regular $5.99, clearance $1.79.
Blank inside and thank you cards were available.
The wedding invitation ones and baby shower invitation ones are on clearance too but more expensive.

I had one location that told me if I m going to refund the item, it will have to be held in the back for some time before they will restock the item back on shelf, and I won't be able to buy it back until it gets restock again....that was 1 out of 4 targets that I been to said that.

Yeah I know, that's their rule. If explaining to them that it doesn't make any sense doesn't work, I would tell them I am going to wait until it gets shelved so that I can purchase that item. I am a patient person. Either they shelve it right away, I stand there all day staring at them or the manager approves the sale and I buy it on the spot.

I actually emailed Target a few days ago because I was curious about the clearance/price adjustment issue after having been refused.

It is Target policy to not do a price adjustment on clearance prices. If a local Target store has their own policy to allow it, then consider yourself very lucky

If they don't do it, well it is company policy and I guess no amount of sweet talking will get them to budge on that

But I don't think they're on 70% off.

I bought a hand-held Dyson when the clearance was initially just starting to happen at Target for $149.99 - I don't think it ever went lower. Maybe someone can confirm.

I went to Target today and got a price adjustment on a lot of closet organizers. I bought at 30% and they are now at 70% off.
Great deal now and yes I felt very lucky like OP said it is lucky I just brought in my bill not the items and it was no trouble. The cashier told me it restarted my adjustment time and if it goes to 90% I can come and do this again.
