I don't know WHY people are not signing these petitions over the last few weeks, but here it is again:
Go to change.org and sign the petition to save Target Canada! It is getting late, but STILL not TOO LATE to do so, so do it NOW!!!
The two petitions are:
1. https://www.change.org/p/ceo-target-...sored_donation
2. https://www.change.org/p/target-cana...-target-canada
The first petition has a target of 5,000 signatures. It gained a lot of momentum early on, but has since became very sluggish and is stuck right before the goal (currently with 4,889 signatures). If it reaches 5,000 the author of the petition promised she will send it to CEO of Target, Mr. Cornell. Yes, it is a long shot, but at least let's make our voices heard!!! Who knows?!
Also, if you sign the first petition, DO sign the second one as well! It only takes a couple minutes of your time, and you have a chance to save lots of jobs and a great retailer. Not to mention, Walmart said they would raise prices of EVERYTHING by 10-30% when Target leaves (link: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/376460-...-deals-canada/, message #5048). So SIGN THE PETITIONS NOW!!!

I felt if I use coupon $2 off it wiuld be $5.49-$2coupon =$3.49, so saved coupon for sale and bought this because I am out of them.

I was at the Upper James location today and they were still unpacking boxes of toys. The parking lot was full and the store was busy. I found a large steel Tonka Dump Truck for $5.24. It's this one: http://www.toysrus.com/buy/trucks-bu...93918-13018810
I also checked out the Ancaster Target today and was happy to finally find the Franklin Fun 5 Combo Game Set. It scanned at $4.49! It's this one: http://franklinsports.com/shop/fun-5-combo-game
I'm enjoying the search for Target deals while it lasts!

I foolishly went in to the Target (in Ottawa, on Merivale) and couldn't find a thing to buy. Everything was still over-priced, IMHO. I could hear the staff answer every single question of, "Where is...." with, "Oh, we don't have any." They didn't check or anything; they preferred to chat amongst themselves. Who cares about customers when you're going out of business?

Vultures were out on full force! Pajamas and thieves and everything!! So many opened and empty boxes. Sigh.
