Almost Free Pop at Loblaws

I was grocery shopping at my Local Loblaws this morning, they had their Pepsi product 2L bottles on sale for $1.79 and they were offering 2000 bonus PC plus points with each bottle. I bought 12 bottles for $24.27 taxes in, received 24 000 PC plus points. So basically $.27 for 12 2L bottles of pop. I am also going to combine this with the Pepsi/Tostitos promotion of Spend $20 and get $20 worth of coupons!!.

Did you have to get them to add the points manually, or did they automatically go on?

It was advertised as being on any Pepsi brand 2L bottles, the regular bottles of Pepsi were given the points automatically, but the 7up, Crush etc I had to get added manually. Customer Service was excellent and was going to try and fix the scanning issue right away.

I got this too in toronto. The shelf stickers said $1.79 and 2,000 points. I watched when the rang in and 2000 points added after it was over $10 and the receipt gave 200 per bottle. I asked customer service to add the points and she said "I don't know how" so I said "it's time you learn". My guess is that the shelf stickers are wrong but there were about 20 of the - a sea of red stickers. Nobody really seemed to care about fixing either the tags or the way they scan. I love loblaws but always have an issue with this particular store. If the tags are still there tomorrow I will do it again. And I got enough pop and cips to get me over $20 so I will be doing the Super Bowl promo too.

At my local loblaws every flavour has the 2,000 sticker but at the bottom of the shelf where they stock the cans there's a big ad "get 2,000 points when you spend $10." Didn't try my luck as I do not drink pop but it is very tempting to see if I can get away with getting the 2,000 points per 2L bottle
