OMG winning the top 10 place in the Top Dogs contest has now offically got me freaked out!!!! Just got a call from the Maple Leaf head office telling me that the head chef has tried and tasted my entry and he says he has it, as his favorite!!! He is not a judge so thats just a compliment. I can't believe how big this is... They expect a crap load of people as it takes place a Busker fest.
I have a personal chef to work with and will have my Top dog featured in a magazine...
I can't imagine if I win!!!! The Edgewalk was a walk in the park. I am sooo scared....

I can't disclose it till the Cook off, thats what is driving me nuts!!! There is so much else I wanna tell but I can't. I always feel better when I can tell all and get feedback but I'm stuck and now really nervous!!!!
I can say The Limo picks us up Fri the 26th at 9am and we are staying at the Hilton on Richmond street.........I guess all the media I have to do and photos has me freaked.. I am usually a pretty loud person but I never imagined this..... I get calls every day from them adding more and more.....I just hope I don't say something stupid....

Maple Leaf ran a promotion on Facebook to create the ultimate recipe for a TOPDOG...yes a hotdog. You were supossed to get votes...I got none??? I managed to get into the top ten when the recreated and tasted mine, out of close to 2 thousand or so I'm told...
Took my for a loop!!!!! But for $25,000 I'll take it for what it is... Really Good!!!!

Thanks for all the comments you guys are the best, I have won my fair share of contests but I do find this one a little intimidating. I sure hope they are over estimating the crowd that will be there.....I can only hope that mine is as good as the other 9 competitors...It will be in the juges hands and I hope they are some cool people to meet. Win or not, at least my Son will have a Birthday he will never forget.... I'll tell ya that night I'll be putting away a FEW bevys.
Me and my little buddie is the team to beat....(well @14 going on 15 he is over 6ft) More like my body guard!!! LOL
