I really like Christmas. I don't find Easter that special. The whole bunny thing is still weird to me.
I can do without Valentine's Day and I admit I have come to dread Christmas. Too commercial, too much hype, too much pressure, just "too much".
I enjoy Easter, maybe because it's so linked with Spring and new beginnings in my mind. I have some wonderful childhood memories around Easter, too. I think my favourite is Thanksgiving. Fall is my favourite time of year, and Thanksgiving seems to be one of the few holidays left that is still about values, family, and friends and not about what companies can make you feel the need to buy.
I love them all!!!! In fact, I'd add a few holidays so workers and students can have a long statutory holiday weekend every month.
I like that idea! *L*
Could live without Hallowe'en.
Favourite holiday is Easter.
I am definitely a Christmas gal

I would be okay with Christmas if they moved it to July. It's frustrating that here in North America where it's snowing and dangerous to travel in the winter, that there is a holiday that makes everyone feel they need to be together. Great if you live in the same town but totally sucks when you feel you disappoint family because of fear of dying on the icy roads, or are stuck in an airport because the flights are cancelled.
my favourite holiday is christmas... I like all holidays because i get to stay home lol
I love Christmas and Easter but could do without Valentine's Day. Here in BC it's Family Day today. It's a new holiday for us -- just our second year -- and it's nice to have a day off between New Year and Easter.
I could live without all of them except...wait for it....HALLOWEEN!!!!!!
If everyday could be Halloween, I would be very happy wereWOLFIE!!
Hmmm favorite... Christmas, Thanksgiving & Easter - why? awesome food and family :) and I do almost all of my shopping from my couch so I bypass the crazy stores at Christmas time. Remembrance Day is pretty special too, so that one definitely has to stay too :)
Ones I could live without, probably Valentines Day or St Patty's Day.
my fav is probably Easter and Christmas only time our family gets together...and now that time is even more crucial.
others i can do without.. Valentines, Thanksgiving, Halloween, St. Patty's day.
even if theres a day off involved. no biggie as dh still has to work. very few holidays have days off on weekends.
My absolute favourite holiday is Thanksgiving. Always has been. :)
The only holidays I dislike are ones involving fire works (May 2-4, Canada Day, Labour Day). Seems like the entire neighborhood sets fireworks off every night for 4/5 days straight around those holidays and late into the night too! Our kids are still too young to understand or appreciate fireworks so I end up spending every night comforting them and trying (in vain) to get them to sleep. I'm sure my attitude will change as they get older (I used to love fireworks) but right now I DREAD those holidays. lol
i love them all! Christmas, easter, thanksgiving, st pattys day. they're so much fun to celebrate with little kids
