My greatest life achievement to date is managing to find, keep, and progress in my current carrier path.
Many have told me that I adapted very well to the economic situation we faced a few years back. I found an amazing place and have kept progressing, "moving my way up the corporate ladder" as they say.

Then there is managing not to royally screw things up with my wonderful lady that's a daily achievement! LMAO
I guess these are the baby steps towards kids and a family one day...that, I'm sure will be at the top of my achievements on day.


Eventually, I'd like to see Mars colonized...this is in the early stages of development...they be sending people out soon, don't think I'll ever head out there, even if they do colonize it.

-well my family is number one -my mother was in there too(caring for her was )my grown kids watching them turn into wonderfull adults
-becoming a nana is wonderfull
-oh and learning to drive at 35-an achievement for sure(lovely sense of freedom)

Greatest to date- Staying married this long without strangling DH
Future-I would like to get eyebrows. Yes, I am serious. Mine are so pale, I look like I have a huge forehead.
I would like to see an end to all animal abuse, every animal have a good home and everyone that neglects an animal gets shot.

This is my personal goal in life:

I want to be a doctor in the future and I will try to produce the best of medicines with the least expense.
I will work for the development of health care in Canada for the betterment of people.
I will stick to this profession with tenacity without wavering.
I will not lose heart if I don't progress at the start.
Lastly, I wish that with my honest efforts, I will be rewarded with success.

None to speak of, really. It is a depressing and embarrassing state of affairs, especially at my age.

My biggest accomplishment. Well, I do not consider having a family and the stuff associated with that an accomplishment. Family and love are necessities. an accomplishment is something beyond which gives you pride.
As for that, my greatest accomplishment would be to for the bus company to change their policies for children, teach my mute son to speak or to bond with a selective mute and help her learn.

OP, hope this is o.k. for your thread. Found a great accomplishment online -- from janitor to school principal. From high school diploma to Master's degree. Notice how this guy is always smiling. Notice how he never forgets his roots and still cleans his own principal's office. Notice how he is still striving -- school superintendent is not out of his reach.

My greatest accomplishment so far...

Leaving a very violent relationship. Despite what I endured over 5 years, I had the courage to leave him in the dust and glad I made it out alive.

Future accomplishments... I would like to travel, see improvements (laws, support and public awareness) with child, domestic, elderly and animal abuse.
