Sick Sick Sick

My whole family including me, has been sick since the later part of December and most of January. That meant no couponing, price matching or anything. I would usually just run in the closest store and pick up whatever is needed and be out in few minutes. Finally, last week we all seem to be doing ok so I took out my coupons and guess what: a lot of coupons have expired and I don't have many new ones. What annoyed me most was that I had a $5.00 Cetaphil coupon which I wanted to use because that is the cream I use in winter but noticed it expired a day earlier. I had to take a lot of time off work as well because I was sick and then my daughter was sick and somebody had to stay with her (my husband couldn't because he took time off as he was sick as well). At work now there is no time to even take lunch because I am so behind but the good news is that there is so much work that it will keep me busy.

Now all this is off my chest and I feel better and I think I am ready to chase deals and coupons.

Welcome back! Glad to read you are better. But you know what? There are so many great deals all the time that you will be back on track in no time! Consider a stockpile to keep you through the times when it is hard to get to the store. I usually have 5 cans of soup ready to go!

Spring is just around the corner, I hope. The winter stuff is going on sale too. Keeping my eyes open for the ice melters for $0.94, regular $7.99

And come the fall, with all this snow cover, we should have a bountiful crop of cheap, healthy fruits and veggies.

Thank you. I think we are back to normal now First it was stomach flu, then it was just flu and then food poisoning. All three of us got it, one after another, other than food poisoning when we all had it together after eating food at a friend's house.
