i have done a gift card + points promo before.

All I can say is beware - I've had it work once and then the next time the cashier refused to give me the promo (gift card) even though the screen prompted her. Anytime you have to rely on the cashier to give you anything you run the the risk of refusual! It is why now I don't bother with any promo that relies on the cashier anymore - I stick with coupons and even then have to regularly nicely say " just scan it please and we'll see what happens"

Luckly I have a store that knows their policy. When the cash register says to give you a gift card a cashier should never refuse it's really none of their business just like a computer promo.

Sometimes I wish SDM had Self Checkout that auto dispenses a gift card.

I had one months ago for Wonder Bread $1.50, I bought 3 loaves and all 3 came out at $1.50, so yes, I think it will work.
I'm hoping so because I also got $8 off any Pampers, and with them being $10.99 this week, that's some mighty cheap Pampers!!!!!!!!!!!!
