I love those photos you're posting, Loocie...thanks for that...it gives a real insight into you, your family and friends...funny how some dresses just make such an impression on us that we keep such fond memories of them...:) My Mom sewed most of my clothes and they were always so beautiful, and I remember so many of them from the time I was young right up until we were married and she sewed my evening gowns...:)

Just so you know, I wasn't always a morning person. Maybe it was just a little bit of stress from the 1970's colours in our house? It seems rusty colours, orange & avocado green were the rage. This would have been in about 1974-1975ish. (I still have the little teapot that's in the middle of the the two larger ones). I've been putting together a family journal about my family & some of the stories I heard growing up.

I'm in Sudbury and I swear if we get more snow I'll slip between the mattresses and hide until the
