I must say I look at what many people go through and shake my head in amazement, but it's true. We have enormous strength hidden in the depths of ourselves. The challenge lies in pulling it out and nourishing it.

Can't say I feel glee as I'm into week three,
But I'm building a wall as *it* can't boss me,
I’ve met so many sweet people in my cancer travels,
You can’t let *it* in, cause *it* sometimes unravels,
The human spirit has a remarkable way of surviving,
That my friends is a key that keeps the hope thriving,
Cancer has no redeeming features & has no mystique,
I would give *it* a ZERO in a detailed critique,
I don't want to go down the avenue that I'll just call dreary,
But, I cannot deny that sometimes I get utterly weary,
I guess this is what they call a soldiering duty...
Now, off I go to continue to kick cancer's booty!!!
