The only birthday deals I look forward to are the Sephora gift for beauty insider members and the free Starbucks drink for registered reward cards. The last thing I want to do is run around redeeming freebies on my exact b-day, so much better when they give you at least a week.

I didn't get the Sephora offer this year. I was looking forward to a trial size something-or-other. Loved the lip gloss from last year.

I had my birthday last month and was thinking the same thing about the BOGO birthday deals. Either we are to buy ourselves something just to get one free, or bring along a friend and ask them to please buy themselves something in order for you to get your 'free' birthday gift. I think I found out about the Booster Juice thing the day after my birthday. Also, I've signed up for the Marble Slab thing many times; I always get their emails but I've never received a birthday email
