Hello and welcome to the frugal chatter thread,
The frugal chatter thread began in February 2013 and we enjoyed it some much we have continued on our frugal journeys and sometimes battles.
We are a great bunch of folks with an appreciation for being frugal by sharing our meal plans, shopping trips, debt repayment(s)/suggestions, recipes and kind words of encouragement and have a few good laughs along the way.
Thanks everyone for taking part in March: Spring into Savings
name suggestions for April thread

Frugal workout -- at the US Presidential White House.
Let's Move campaign has the president and vice president running, stretching and rehydrating with water

I think we are all tired of this cold weather. I got a steal of a deal and I am off to sunny Spain for 2 weeks in April while DH stays with the girls. I do casual childcare and put it in a travel fund for family or individual trips.

Happy Saturday! Slept in a bit but was awake at usual time. But was nice to stay in bed longer Made coffee and egg on an English muffin for breakfast. Had 2 sales through the night and have arranged pick up I was awake just before midnight so re-posted a few items figuring they would be near the top for the early morning people and it worked! Heading out to RCSS for pming, no tax etc. And want to check out an open house beside my friends place. I'm curious. I don't want a bigger house and it's huge but will go take a look to get it out of my head as I have been liking this house for a long time.

It was such a pleasure to meet Mrs. Sunshine, yesterday, and I can verify that her wreaths are just a big and colourful and beautiful as they look online. Her cupcakes looked amazing, too.
I don't think that anyone at the sale sold much. There was not a big crowd, perhaps because of our cold weather and those who were there were looking but not buying much.
I sold enough of my One-of-a-Kind Photo Cards to to cover the cost of my table but not enough to cover the cost of the cards. (At my last sale I sold 60 cards so I know that the photography is attractive, enough.) At $3 per card or 6 for $15, I can't afford to spend too much on the table. I also need just the right demographic, i.e. an older demographic who still writes notes. Younger people tend to text, e-mail or send e-cards. The higher cost of postage doesn't help my sales, either.
Hang in there, Mrs. S, you'll find just the right venue to sell you pretty wreaths. They are really lovely.

I think I have a Ralph too , glad that it was nothing serious or more expensive, sounds like a very honest place you brought your pc too as some places might have ripped you off and glad to have you back
I`ve been taking it there ever since I got a computer. They`re super nice...don`t laugh too much when I ask a stupid question. They really could have told me I needed a new computer because I even asked about getting a new one. So glad I don`t need a new one...it`s not in the budget right now.

Been dealing with house stuff. Home and water/septic inspection done. Nothing that we didn't expect/would have us walk from the deal. Countered an offer on our home too. There is a second offer coming in if that one doesn't work out.
