Thanks for posting SFARAZ, I'll have to make sure to keep that weekend open.....and I had no idea this event was held all over the world.
This is a great event where people get to visit inside old heritage buildings and other places of interest in your city which are normally not open to the public! The best part is there are no admission fees!!

I noticed that Niagara Falls is missing (from October). The website link from last year is also parked.

War of 1812 is entering last year of its bicentennial commemoration (yes 1814 mattered too) so Niagara Falls might have just decided to focus on those events instead then think about a return to Doors Open another year. It could also be a matter of resources (sponsors or volunteers or venues) not aligning to confirm that event can proceed.

Community paper got the smaller Doors Open folded brochure. Cover mentions "Remembering the First World War: Ontario in transition."
May 3-4 weekend: four communities have their events (Hamilton does both days while Guelph, Whitby and Peterborough have the Saturday).
Sept. 27: Grimsby's day; no Niagara otherwise listed in the brochure.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

This is a not to be missed event every year, but things are extra special in Toronto this year:
"The theme for this year's event is Secrets and Spirits … exploring the mysteries behind the door. Secret spaces and stories exist all over Toronto, from an underground bowling alley in a downtown church to a secret tomb in another, from hidden nooks and crannies in the buildings at the University of Toronto to the little-known ghosts haunting the Distillery District.
This year's event will also include architectural and ghostly walking tours..."
Woo hoo, find out where all the ghosties are hiding in Toronto! A definite must-see this year.
