I had a problem a short time ago as I was not awarded my bonus points while redeeming because in the fine print in the terms of use - Section 6: Earning and Redemption Exclusions - states "PC points are not earned on the portion of a transaction that is being paid for by redeeming PC points." https://www.pcplus.ca/loyaltySecureTerms.jsp
Made no sense to me but was told that if I wanted to earn any points no redemptions were allowed in the same transaction.
Have not had that problem.
1. PC Plus card at start of order.
2. cashier processes order.
3. get points for reusable bags.
4. cashier presses total.
5, give coupons and Auto Cash.
6. asks if I have any PC points to use (when I already checked).
7. cashier asks if I want to use points.
8. points deducted.
9. payed for rest of the order with PC card.
10 review receipt -- points earned on bonus PC Plus offer.
11. If the points deal is good, then `rinse and repeat`
Did all of that but it did not work. When I got home (after actually purchasing my items) I called the PCPlus tel. number because it was for a personal offer (not an in-store one that CS or the cashier could help me with) they went through my purchase and discovered I had redeemed in the same purchase so I was not awarded my points and that's when I was advised to read the fine print on the terms and conditions of the card. It was a lesson learned that I will not repeat again as they will not award any points if redeeming at the same time.
Also, at the RCSS, Loblaws and Value-Marts where I shop there are no points or credit given for bringing in your own bags.
Thanks, I'll try that the next time I'm there.
Thanks!
got 1200 PC Plus points offer if we buy Haagen Daaz ice cream.
Hmmm...
Could fill the freezer with Haagen Daaz and tap into the in store bonus points offers for this week to maximize points.
No. Don't need so much ice cream:P
How much do you have to spend ?
The Farmer's Market 24 cookies is a good deal this week. The sale price is $5.78. Each package earns you 500 points. You also earn 2,500 for every $10 you spend in the bakery dept. (one transaction per account).
I bought 4 and received 4 x 500 points plus 2 x 2,500 pts for a total of 7,000 points. (Good thing they freeze well.) :-)
