Thread: Ideas for entertaining the kids over March Break?
-
Mon, Mar 3rd, 2014, 01:43 PM #1
Just wondering what others were planning to do with their kids over march break. Libraries have free activites. I was hoping Michaels would have something, but so far nothing I can see.

Just a thought-how about teaching kids new skills at home? Also chores/spring cleanup-they help keep the family going. It's also a good idea to check out what seeds can be readied for germination and growing. Let them pick a herb or flower or vegetable they will grow in containers but start them off in cell packs or whatever container you use to grow seeds in (I used to find takeout salad containers with clear domes and black bottoms made ideal greenhouses for starting seeds off).
