I have watched soooo many movies in the last 2 1/2 weeks I am dizzy!! Trying to use up the free Red Box coupon codes I have before Oct 23 when they expire. Most of these movies I would NOT have paid theatre admission to see, which is why I never saw them in the first place, BUT for free made a big difference.
Out Of the Furnace I liked because of the performances of Christian Bale/ Casey Affleck and Woody Harrelson 8/10
Counselor was a bomb at the box office but worth it to watch a cutthroat Cameron Diaz. 8/10
The Other Woman great laughter and antics from all 3 actresses, 9/10
Bullet To The Head, usual Stallone flick pretty good, some humour, lots of fighting..... and Jason Momoa....wow! 7/10
The Mortal Instruments- City Of Bones...never thought I would like this but it was pretty good. 8/10
Blended I really laughed at this and also got choked up too, love Drew and Adam together in flicks!! 9/10
Sabotage withArnold!!! ( and others ) all action/suspicion/betrayal and then closure, not bad 8/10
Repentance with Forest Whitaker was a painful movie to watch but held my attention, 8/10
Joe with Nicholas Cage was a time waster but I cannot resist Nicholas movies 7/10
Ride Along ugh!!! Kevin Hart I love your comedy but this just sort of sucked, 5/10
The Bag Man with John Cussack, Robert Deniro was gruesome but had me caught up in it right till the end!! 9/10
Saturday I saw a theatre movie ( Scene points!! hooray ) Gone Girl with Ben Affleck....I hated the very end of it BUT I still give it a solid 9/10

I'm loving all the free Redbox codes! I've gotten 3 so far and have 1 left to use. Hoping to score some more! lol
Fault in Our Stars - 5/10. I was glad this one was a freebie. I liked the book but the movie felt flat to me. The acting wasn't great, parts were left out. Overall I didn't feel it did the book justice.
The Other Woman - 9/10. I thought it was hilarious!
Mom's night out - 8/10. Another really funny movie - especially if you're a mom.

Gone Girl: 9/10. It did not disappoint. DH initially didn't want to see it but he really liked it.
Neighbors: 9/10. I haven't laughed that much at a movie in a long time. We actually had to stop it at one point because I was laughing so hard.

Not Movies but Cable TV Shows:
VEEP 5/10 - Love Julia's character but the rest of the characters annoyed me. Watched one episode of Season 1 and that was it.
The Walking Dead 4/10 - Watched the first episode of Season 1 and I can see myself finishing off the season, but, it's as far as I'll go.
Orange is the new Black 2/10 - Couldn't even stand to watch the whole episode.
Breaking Bad 10/10 - Excellent acting and storyline. Bryan Cranston deserved all the praise that he got.

I've seen almost all the movies now out of the Red Box ( love free codes!! ), but last night on tv was a movie on from 1995 called The Player. I cannot believe I have never seen this before. It was loaded up with about 90 stars ( some playing themselves ) and was a pleasant time waster. 7/10
Tim Robbins was tall and gorgeous as usual, Whoopi and Lyle Lovitz were funny in it, oh and I am certain that was Patrick Swayze was sitting at a table during an awards show. Could not stop looking at those Peter Gallagher eyebrows!! lol So many actors were in it and they all looked so young.....ah memories.
