Kong: Skull Island. DH dragged me to it as these types of movies aren't really my thing but I loved it! Solid 8.5/10

The Accountant - 8/10
The Revenant - 8/10
Leonardo DiCaprio deserved every single award that he won for Best Actor for this movie, especially his Oscar Award.
Cinematography was also Exceptional!

Mr. Church - 10/10
I highly recommend for everyone to see this movie. There are no car chases, no gunfire, no boobs or gratuitous sex scenes. It's just a lovely movie about family and friendship. Now, I generally don't go in for these sappy little stories but this was so much more than that. Eddie Murphy is genius in his role as Mr. Church. I've always been an Eddie Murphy fan and I'm glad he is still acting - it's been too long since I've seen him in anything. On a side note, I read that there is Beverly Hills Cop 4 in the works. Not entirely sure if that's a good thing or not.

Split.... ahhhhh!! 10/10 , This was a biggie! For me to watch a scary movie is something but I did it. I loved there were not really any " gotcha " scenes, I hate them. The acting!! I wanted to see how well the various personalities were portrayed by James Mcavoy, and he was nothing short of brilliant. I loved them all.
Made for a sequel for SURE!!! Loved the ending the most!

Beauty and the Beast - solid 9/10.
I couldnt give it 10/10; my daughter and I loved it from beginning to end, but there were scenes in the movie that were oddly reminiscent of other movies (when Belle ran up that hill with her arms outstretched, I almost expected her to start singing "the hills are alive, with the sounds of music"). Will definitely watch this again, if you enjoyed the animated version, you will love the live action version. The average dog

Moana - 8/10
I'd rate Disney movies higher but I can't because of all the damn singing. Although, it was a nice surprise finding out that Dwayne Johnson has some decent chops.

This is on the top of my must-see list. However, I have no one to see it with. Kids are too young and DH isn't interested in Stephen King. Ugh.

I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.
