Sex and the City 2 - 7/10 - clothes were pretty amazing. Some of the outfits were too wierd and circus like. I loved the location in Middle East - very exotic. The plot was a little lacking and the storyline wasn't really there. It had funny moments and its definitely one for the fans.

Can't wait to see Prince of Persia!!
The Memory Keeper's Daughter (2008)
Never got around to reading the book (but still want to); I prefer to read a book before seeing a movie from it.
VERY good movie - 8/10

Iron Man 2.
I thought it was pretty freaking awesome, however I'm a huge comic book fan. I wouldn't recommend seeing it without at least seeing Iron Man 1 or you'll be pretty lost.
The soundtrack was awesome and had some great action throughout.
My only regret??? Not seeing it in 3D!
10/10

Watched Peacock this weekend. I think its an independent film but it was pretty good....physiological thriller! Susan Sarandon and ELlen Page are in it.

Also watched "The Other Man" with Laura Linny, Liam Neeson and Antonio Banderas. I give it a 6/10.

Sex & the City 2 - would rate it 4.5/10.
The story line was done before but the locations was beautiful. Some of the fashions were very out there (example - Carries hat when she boarded the plane to the middle east. It looked like a miniature bamboo boat on her head). I agree with Tuktu60; some of the outfits were clownish, the plot was weak, but I gave it points for not ramming cultural or religious stereotypes down the audiences throat and also for showing Charlotte dealing with the difficulties of raising children. I am a huge SATC fan but I was disappointed with this movie; it was more of the same old same old; Miranda micromanaging, Charlotte freaking out over something, Samantha, well, being Samantha, and Carrie creating unnecessary drama for herself.
The story line looked to me as if it was rushed. I think they made SATC2 only to showcase the fabulous clothes, shoes and lifestyle the ladies are living. The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.

The 3D effects did nothing for it. It added nothing and the film in general was not that good. The original was much better.
3D does not make a film better per say. It adds depth to a film wanting you to feel like you are a part of it. 3D could be amazing in a film, but if the story and acting isn't there, amazing 3D effects will not help.
