    Just watched JoJo Rabbit after dinner.

    D*MN it was good! Has not been nominated for much in the mainstream, but the kid was great and wonderful movie!

    10/10 for me! If you have a chance definitely give this one a go!!!

    This has been on my radar for a while now but every time I think I want to see it I feel like a lighthearted imaginary friend Hitler is something I might not be able to reconcile.

    Does it have a Wes Anderson feel to it?

    If it does, then I might just have to see it.

    Just finished watching 1917 over dinner. It was intense and sucked you in, but had some very hokey moments IMHO.
    Glad I watched it but should it have won Best Pic at the GG? I think no.
    8/10

    So far have watched this month:
    - The Irishman
    - Knives Out
    - Once Upon A Time in Hollywood
    - JoJo Rabbit
    - 1917

    IMO Knives out was a good fun movie, Once Upon a Time was a good movie for sure, but I really liked JoJo Rabbit

    Next up will either be The Marriage Story or Dolemite Is My Name, possibly the Joker

    I think you will like it and find the imaginary Hitler more humourous than else.
    There is SO much more to the movie than the imaginary Hilter aspect,
    It was a really really good movie!

    Then this morning got an alert at 7.30 a.m that woke me up ,but it was a false alarm from a pickering nuclear generating plant ,they sent out a new statement at around 9.am saying it was a false alarm .
    Watched Chernobyl on DVD last November and right after the first episode, I looked all over our kitchen drawers for the iodine pills that were sent out when we first moved to this house. (We live within 5 km of the Pickering Nuclear Power Plant). It was such a relief to find them and know where they are, just in case we need it.

    I invested my time to watch it but once it went in a " whole nuther direction " I scratched my head wondering who thinks of a story line like this??

    Jojo Rabbit is on my to watch list too. I did a lot of reading about it because it was a potential to see in theatre with friends. Our best friends are biracial and we wanted to make sure that we weren't suggesting anything offensive. We ended up going to a coffee shop and laughing all night instead...so still on my to watch list.

    Just watched Parasite. Definitely 10/10 even with the subtitles! It was great! You think you know what it is about but the curves are great! Definitely a contender for Best Picture this year!
