Been waiting for Fubar to drop on Netflix.....it's today! I'll rate it later.

Oh and btw Ant Man and The wasp Quantumania was crazy confusing BUT I still enjoyed it! That actor ( Jonathan Majors ) made THE best villain!

we canceled our netflix subscription when they announce that password can't be shared to others not within the same household.
we currently have Disney+ and i watched Nightmare Alley, thinking the movie should be good because there are several big name actors. It was so long 2.5 hrs; it was predictable and at times boring. I rate it 3/10. I liked Cate Blanchett and Toni Collette. Bradley Cooper needs more acting classes. But maybe that was the intent - he was portraying a bad act after all. Just my personal opinion.

@Purdee I get what you felt about watching Nightmare Alley! What an oddball movie all around. Cooper's character was the worst! Imagine getting your head into playing that role.

I thought FUBAR was a movie, It was an 8 episode series but worth every minute. Arnold still has IT! He's funny without any real funny dialogue, it's just him, that body and accent.
Made for a 2nd season with that cliffhanger of a finale.

Finally watched the newest Avatar movie ( the way of water? ) BUT had to watch it in 3 separate 1 hour time slots because I just kept nodding off ( NOT the fault of the film, I needed to sleep ) It was very impressive visually. I'm still not 100% sure that I actually " get " any of it, but still a decent enough use of 3 hours. A 10/10 from me.

ugh!! Wasted my time watching Triangle Of Sadness. Should have gone with my instincts in the first part ( of 3 ) in this flick, which screamed wtf is this crap? No, instead I kept hoping the real point/plot/insight even would reveal itself. It gets a rating of 4/10 and THAT is only because Woody Harrelson made me laugh as the alcoholic Captain of the Yacht.
One very sad note is that the beautiful young actress ( Charlbi Dean ) who portrayed Yaya died suddenly in 2022 from sepsis.

Loved it!! The new The Little Mermaid on Disney+ !! 10 /10 for me. How great was Melissa McCarthy as Ursula the Sea Witch? Fantastic imho. I did not feel any negativity wrt the way they reanimated the characters from the first flick. Easy blissful entertainment for me.

I couldn't wait anymore to see the Barbie movie so I paid $6.99 through my amazon prime account. Good for 48 hours. I LOVED it!! What incredible gems are in this movie, that impassioned speech America Ferrera gave was off the charts. Also KEN was great ( all the Kens ) , I mean the actors portraying them delivered. I will re-watch it again tonight!!

animated, but then I LOVE kids films. Orion and The Dark...I rate a 9/10
Personally I found it a delight to watch, while critics are what they are....slime.
Anyhow, at first listen I was convinced the actor who voices The Dark character was Seth Rogen. ( I mean C'mon! that guys voice is distinctive ) .
I was so wrong! Instead it's Paul Walter Hauser's voice. ( he portrayed the helpless security guard, Richard Jewell in the film of the same name AND was amazingly terrifying as serial killer Larry Hall in the tv series Black Bird. )
I think this is a film 7-10 year old's can watch with a parent and get both reassurance and laughs on facing bedtime and THE DARK! lol.

Oppenheimer AND Dream Scenario. One was fluff and watched because I am a die hard Nicolas Cage fan, the other one because I wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
Oppenheimer, 10/10 I never really understood any of the scientific dialogue, however what a diabolical betrayal this man endured. Nicolas was brilliant in his portrayal of the
nobody who became somebody and was then vilified for causing none of it. So yeah also 10/10
