Olympus has Fallen... it was completely far-fetched but it was still enjoyable, lots of action in it. 7/10
Funny, I never used to care for Gerard Butler, but the more I see him, the more I seem to like him. He's growing on me... slowly.

Prisoners....I am not going to spoil the movie for anyone, I rate it 9/10....on the edge of my seat for most of the 2 1/2 hours. Loved Hugh in this rather different role.

The Family: 7/10 - Some funny parts. Just a good movie to pass a few hours.

Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters: 8/10. Fast paced and interesting. Wasn't my first choice but i really enjoyed it.

"Heat" with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy....hubby wasn't sure he'd enjoy it, but we were both totally entertained and quite enjoyed it...9/10 for sheer giggle value.

"Mud" with Matthew McConaughey...interesting movie, well acted by all, a little snippet of rural Arkansas...touching..very enjoyable in a weird way....8/10

I just saw WWZ too.. I thought it was a pretty good zombie movie.. I'll give it a 7.5/10

Also, Identity Thief.. I'm glad I didn't pay to see this one.. 6/10.. it had a few chuckles but for the most part it was kinda disturbing.

thank goodness! i felt like the only person who was disappointed by Identity Thief... i saw it in the theatre (free pass from cereal box) it was one of 3 movies i saw and it was by far the worst of the 3 i kept waiting for it to get good and it never did.. then i was just waiting for it to end so i could go home lol

we all saw Arnold and Sly in Escape Plan.....9/10....... JUST because I felt the casting of everyone else was good too. ( like dreamy Jim Caviezel)



and the laughs were sort of corny but good. Gotta say I give credit to these 2 old fogies for attempting this one. Cannot wait for the Robert Deniro/Sly film coming soon ( Grudge Match) about 2 old boxers with a past ( sworn enemies ) having a boxing rematch! lol

I feel that I cannot adequately give this movie a rating as I fell asleep during the first half hour and didn't wake up til the end credits were rolling. 'Nuff said.
