Saw two relatively unknowns...
The Kings of Summer - 7/10
The Way Way Back - 8/10
Sometimes the little-known movie is better than the blockbuster :)

Love Wrecked with Amanda Bynes before she was crazy. 9/10.
Escape Plan- 7/10 but I have to say Stallone gets better looking with age. But then that could just be me, gotta thing for older craggy-looking guys.
captain Phillips - 8/10
The Nut Job - 6/10 (Daughter liked it, so that's all that matters)
The Lego Movie - 9/10
vampire academy! yes i'll admit it! yes i enjoyed it! 8/10 i don't think the previews did it justice (i do like my dramas but i also like my cheesy popcorn flicks!)
(also saw gravity this weekend, it was good! completely different type of movie i'd also give it a 8/10)
ok I have HAD it with critics, movie reviewers, etc. Line them up against the wall and I will fire at them ( with stale popcorn!!) lol
This is at least the 10th time that I have waited and hummed and hawed about going to a flick because they have given it a low rating ( like 1 out of 5 stars)
RoboCop....go see it! I give it 9/10 and we had to sit 5 rows from the screen, that is how packed the theatre was. Anyway, it had a good mix of emotional content without getting too sappy. I thought no one could fill Peter Weller's role but Joel Kinnaman did just fine, even though Peter is prettier to me, a nicer mouth and gorgeous eyes.

Took DD to the Lego Movie her rating 10/10 mine 1/10 hate hate hate Will Ferrel just ruined it for me
Rented Captain Phillips - 8/10
Bad Grandpa - I'm not a huge fan of Johnny Knoxville and the whole Jackass scene, so 6.5/10 overall... BUT because of the stripper pole scene I'll bump it up to 9/10.. I nearly hyperventilated.
"gloria" it's a chiliean movie with subtitles 7/10
Ender's Game- 6/10 What a dumba$$ movie!
We watched 'Up' tonight - wowsers, can't believe I hadn't seen it before - 10+/10
