If a WHOLE lot of swearing and violence doesn't bother you, then this is the movie for you. IMDB claims that there are only five other movies in the history of movies that have more swearing in them than this one did.

My guess is that "American History X" is one of those movies. I loved "End of Watch". It was my third favourite movie of the year.

I'd really, really like to give this move 10/10 but I just can't. The first half was amazing. The second half is where it started to fall apart for me. The story itself was ok. For me the problem was the overly-heavy Tarantino influence. If you went in watching this movie not knowing a thing about it, you'd realize very early on that it was a Quentin Tarantino flick. With the over-the-top blood splatters to the whoosh sound effect when someone turned their head around quickly, I was heavily reminded of Kill Bill I and II (both of which I loved, but were still way-crazy).

So for the first half, I'll give 10/10.. second half gets 5/10, only because of the craziness, not because of the acting from all those involved, which was amazing.
