Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed it. While Baby Groot was adorable, for me, Dave Bautista stole the show. Every time he laughed, I laughed.

Lego Batman Movie - 6/10
I fell asleep for the last half, the first half was just ok. Not as good as the original Lego movie.
The Space Between Us - 7.5/10
A nice little movie. Something different from car chases and shooting.

Masterminds - 5/10
Meh. There were a few laughs but the dull moments far outweighed the funny.

Cars 3 I give an 8/10! Was too tired before I went and I kept falling asleep but the parts I did see were entertaining and lots of action.

Spiderman, Homecoming....9/10
I went Friday afternoon and there were only a few in the theatre. Great movie with actual story and conversations
( humour was decent ) with just enough fighting, crashing, smashing stuff going on. Who needs overkill....not me.
Loved Michael Keaton!! Also I did like the new guy Tom Holland.

The Lost City of Z - 5/10... I really wanted to like this movie. It just wasn't good. The idea of it was great but it was much like the book - I just couldn't get into it.
John Wick 2 - 8/10... I adore Keanu Reeves. I don't care that he's not the greatest actor. I will like any movie that he does, that's just how it is. So there.

@GoJays I am that way with anything Nicholas Cage does.....and I often hear fans trashing him similar to the way Nickleback gets razzed all the time, but I actually like their stuff. ha ha

The New Planet of The Apes movie.....9/10
Now I must say I have been a sucker for any of the Ape movies, but this one is particularly emotional and heart wrenching.
I think the best way to describe how I felt during the over 2 hr movie was like going up....up....up to the top of the highest roller coaster ever, that feeling of " oh no! " we are at the edge.
The coming down the other side was the same as with a ride.... so darn fast and I usually close my eyes.
I used my Scene points to get in free.....loving it.

The Big Sick. It was smart and funny. Ray Romano and Holly Hunter were great.
