What's the last movie you saw and what do you rate it out of 10????

In progress-The Doorman, with Ruby Rose and Jean Reno (the latter for some reason listed on the back dvd cover as Introducing...) He's well-known and of late a resident of New York City. Think someone messed up on the dvd credits!
Another one of those films where the main character is not getting heard when she notices things and peers/colleagues seem to dismiss her. She's having to deal with that and take care of matters.
I'll start with 7/10 for now. Might change when I get to the end.

Update: finished movie. Will stay with rating. One good line: I hear your putdowns, but not solutions.

I liked it a bit more 7/10 only because I like Scarlett Johansson; my hubby did not like it at all.
We also saw The Tomorrow War and we agreed it was much better than Black Widow; 8.5-9/10

Chris Pratt and JK Simmons are in it? I'm in!

Season 1 of Star Trek: Picard (I had snacks and treated the Friday/Sat episode marathon like a long movie) 8/10 Good plot twists. Disc 1-recommend you watch the Special Feature first before watching the first episode. Disc 3 has a few Special features. I did not bother watching the Story Logs on most episodes nor listened to the audio commentary. Is that Sarek (you know, Spock's Father or lookalike) in the cafe scene when Picard gets cold looks by the Romulans sitting there?

Had understood premise of series is that Picard is running a detective agency (I was thinking along lines of Murder, She Wrote or Magnum PI but with a space sensibility). If you have seen The Way (with Martin Sheen & Emilio Estevez), you are closer to what this series seems to be doing.

Noticed two Babylon 5 things in the series: actress (Tamlyn Tomita) playing Commodore Oh was on the original pilot movie for Babylon 5 as the station's commander and the use of the line "C-and-C" (not necessarily Oh's line but by other characters) is a classic Babylon 5 line uttered by the tv series' Commander Ivanova.

Right at the opening, I recognized him on the bench behind John K. at the kids game and those eyes! He can grow a beard, get smeared with dirt, but he cannot disguise those baby blues. tee hee.

"Blood red sky"...on netflix 5/10 too much gore for me, it reminded me of the tv series "The Strain"

I feel badly now because I avoided Nomadland thinking I wouldn't like it....I knew nothing of what the story was about but that didn't stop me from voicing my opinions on a flick I hadn't yet seen....Gulp!
I loved it! What a story, what great real life people in it!!
Sorry Francis...guess you earned that Oscar. 10/10

Awkwafina will always crack me up, but who would've thought the actor Simu Liu ( from Kim's Convenience ) would deliver such a fantastic performance as Shang-Chi.

bizarre is the only way to describe this. someone described it as an 80s slasher flick....maybe, but i enjoyed the twist, which i guessed at the 3/4 mark.

I really enjoyed this. I am an Emma Stone fan and thought she did a great job. It is very interesting as a prequel and I think there is another planned.

I love this type of movie and they did it real justice. Great action and just plain fun!
