So the store beside my university had these on clearance earlier this week. I decided to give them a shot bought a box of the caramel ones 2/$1. It did not turn out like the box shows at all, unless my mug was too big the cake did not rise at all and it was very sticky and dense once i finally got it to cook all the way through (checking with the a fork to make sure the cake batter inside was cooked ). It was not very good, i gave my three roommates the other three sachets to try and they had the same issues. unless it was our landlords subpar microwave. SO basically the point of this, if you have kids even though the instructions our simple do it for them and know they may complain lol

oh its not, at all maybe the choco would be a bit better but it was not good.., than again it was my own fault for believing it could be.. theres no way to bake a cake in a microwave and have it turn out really good, that would be like baking chicken in the microwave and having it taste good... impossible

Received mine yesterday. Ok, ive tried the Mug Cake before and it definitely didnt come out like in the package. It was kinda gooy, probably a tad undercooked, so im glad i got an FPC and im going to try again with a teeny bit longer cooking time. We had the chocolate one, which wasnt bad. I mean it wasnt great but it wasnt too bad either.

A better idea is to get two boxes of regular cake mix that requires only water to be added (one box has to be angel food), mix the contents of both boxes together and store this in a tupperware container. Whenever you want a little cake fix just scoop a few heaping tablespoons of the mixture into a cup and add 2-3 tablespoons of tap water and put the cup into the microwave for a minute or two depending on the microwave strength. Pour some chocolate syrup over top. Works great every time.
