@rose-pack for both, as it is layering season. That way, you are prepared.

April 30 is release date of LCBO's Early Summer issue-am not kidding. Trying to get spring calibrated first before even thinking of summer...

@torontogal12-is that Japanese steam/stone bath place still around? Might be the time to visit! There's a special on now! http://www.iyashibedrockspa.com/web/

Oh, look, May Elle has a travel section on drives around Vancouver Island!

For just a few days.... I just normally look at the forecast, especially 24hours before departing, to plan what to pack. Yah when the weather is nice, you just need to bring warm clothing...

Otherwise.... it's an affordable quick trippy to Vegas when the weather is normally dryer and warmer!

If you want near-waterfront living... the prices are going to be higher than in the suburbs. Here's a little video from a few years back when prices were a little more affordable.

Be careful with your choice in housing.... it is so wet... some homes just melt...

I think this may actually be the final straw that pushes me out of Canada. I am tired of winter and have been for the last 30 years.

Was out on errands today while sun was warm in late morning. After 4pm, the air was so icy feeling (while I was watching north side icicles dripping furiously yet clinging tenaciously to the roof) that my spring shoes let me feel cold in under 5 minutes. Ouch.
    Tomorrow-springy weather, wait for it!
