For just a few days.... I just normally look at the forecast, especially 24hours before departing, to plan what to pack. Yah when the weather is nice, you just need to bring warm clothing...

Otherwise.... it's an affordable quick trippy to Vegas when the weather is normally dryer and warmer!

Every house I`ve looked at in BC is at least 800k, one that would be around 3-400k in a middle class area in the GTA. I had a good laugh, then a cry.

If you want near-waterfront living... the prices are going to be higher than in the suburbs. Here's a little video from a few years back when prices were a little more affordable.

Was out on errands today while sun was warm in late morning. After 4pm, the air was so icy feeling (while I was watching north side icicles dripping furiously yet clinging tenaciously to the roof) that my spring shoes let me feel cold in under 5 minutes. Ouch.
