I first heard about it from a sister-in-law in Kelowna years ago but never bothered to try it until I was a SCer. I think only my local friends from this site SCOP. I usually get a a hard time from cashiers, except at this particular SDM.

My sdm also does not honour SCOP....
They just do adjust the price,I also don't bother to get a SCOP and I don't want to make a complain...
Because my store manager is very nice and I never had any problem using my coupons there....
If I had any issue about promo,my issue is resolved in seconds...
I've never had problems with SCOP at shoppers, however one cashier told me that it's a store policy not to give a SCOP unless the customer requests it.
On time sobeys gave me SCOP even without asking....
Otherwise I have to ask for SCOP...
Last week I SCOP free whole wheat dempsters bread at Walmart.
Price tag was $2.78 but rang as $2.88.
Csm gave me the SCOP on my request and also told me if customer don't ask for SCOP we just adjust the
Price.
Yep, they can do that if they chose. A certain store manager could encourage his staff to do so
if that's what he wants for his/her store.
Participation in SCOP, by any retailer, is voluntary.
Shoppers participates.
But like everything else in the retail world, many customers, cashiers, and even managers don't really understand SCOP rules, not familiar with, no experience with, or are not trained.

Not sure my experience was the same ..... the other day I used my 8000 pts WUS $30 Food/Snacks plus the 3000 points on coffee ... I got the 3000 pts right away and the 8000 was allocated a few days later - not a problem... this was the personalized paper coupon rather than the ones loaded to the card .....
It'll be trial and error adjusting to the changes --- but if everyone shares what works and doesn't work we'll all learn :)
Got my new offers via email...Went to go to website to load them to card and it says I have no new offers...Must be a glitch
Got mine as well, around 9:30 am. Went to the website but nothing showing up yet to be loaded.
I was hoping for a birthday bonus points personalized offer #1 this week as my birthday is next Friday. Perhaps it will show up just on the actual birthday. Got 8000 pts WUS $30 on vitamins this week, plus a few other bonus point ones that I'll actually use this week once I can load them.
I am waiting on the birthday one too....mine is on wednesday
I got email coupons and it says at the eNd if I want to print coupons I can print them for now...
