Check your SDM stores. I think they are discounting their old jewellery racks to make room for their new Joe's line of jewellery displays. The racks are near the beauty boutique or front entrance of the store and are 75% off. Just be careful as one store said 75% off and another store said "up to" 75% off. The sign clearly states 75% off but the price does not ring up properly - some are just 50% off in the system. Noticed too that SDM now has a new computer program so the screens look different too.

Just out of curiosity. Has anyone or know of anyone who has won the 1 of 50 prizes when completing the survey that is offered on your receipts? It use to be 1 million optimum points but I see it is now $1000 in gift cards?

They apparently post the winners on the website. I do the surveys when i get them never won a thing

I have noticed that the clearance sale items sometimes ring up at higher prices than marked. My local SDM now has a 'price checker' machine. There was a line up at the machine after Christmas, because many of the clearance items had no prices, just signs saying 50% off.

Well I guess it's a good sign maybe dh will get more offers.

Probably not. Last time I was buying a clearance item at Superstore but the price was higher than marked. I said the item should be free but the manager told me the SCOP only applied to regular items

If the clearance price is on a shelf tag SCOP applies.

Does anyone know if we can order a replacement card for our optimum account or not? I lost my card somewhere and I cant find it. I can use my sdm app on my cell phone to scan my card at the store but i prefer physical card.

I think they make you get a new card and transfer your points over - that's what happened to me last time but it was some time ago. Anyway, because we do not get custom cards with our names on them I think it is still that way.

I think free is a good deal. They are $12.99. 3k = $6 x 2 = $12, use the brandsaver 1.50 coupon and pay 11.49.
