aaaaahhhhh i see! the All Bran offer on CO51 will not work for us because we dont eat that cereal. but now that i am thinking about using most of my sdm coupons to reach $75.00 shopping limit, i'll see which kellogs cereal i am going to pick. i am thinking about maximizing my points so that my OOP seems to be zero considering the value of points. :) :cool1:
8000 points Wus $40 on baby formula, food , or diapers AND 20x on enfamil! Made out like a bandit today.
I'm donating the cereal - I'm on my way out the door and will post my transaction later but this morning I bought 50% things I want/need and 50% I don't but the points offers and coupons/rebates brought my total (pre-tax) to $59.87- redeemed points, paid $4.25 tax - claimed $6C51 (4 cereals and 1 ice cream) and I earned 36, 200 points so the stuff I didn't want helped to bring up the points and total to a place where the stuff I did want cost 1800 in points
.
Yes, I ended up having problems after all
I could not combine the 8000 wus $30 with the 18,500 wus $75, which was fine. So I opted for the 8000 wub $30 on food/snack.
What I did not realize was that milk would not count towards the $30.
Since my milk was $16 of the $30, I didn't even get the 8000 pts :(
Oh well, maybe next time
dreamcatcher, the milk should have counted in the total for food/snacks. It always has for me in the past. However, if you used your $2 off Bryer's ice cream, which was a personalized SDM coupon, that would have brought your total down. Personalized SDM coupons for $ off reduce your base total, as it gets processed as a price adjustment. If you used that coupon, you would have needed to have your total cost be $32 before coupon.
But there could be some candy items that would not have counted toward the $30, don't know if you had any of those items.
It's not always clear which items get counted in the food/snack category, versus which ones get counted in the candy/snack category.
You were right. I tried to buy $20 worth of pop and snacks and coupon would not go through so I added $8 more (the equivalent of what pop amount was) in snack food and the coupon worked.
I also had 800 bp WUB any quo product. I picked up an emery board for 25c in the clearout section and got 800 pts for it. Also got 800 pts on .88c palmolive.
In the end I earned 27070 BP today. Pretty happy with that. Got a lot of gift packs to stash away for next year to break up for stocking stuffers.

Won't be using any of my offers this week. Normally I'd use the 800 bonus points milk coupon, but I can get Natrel 4L for $3.99 and I like its quality much more than the Neilson no name milk.
Waiting for DH and DD's offers to see what they get.
