Looks like they just removed the option to print coupons, so I guess it's guessing codes now

Trying to decide whether or not to turn off emails now. I guess best to leave it turned on ... for promos such as points exchange.

3200 on $13.23...for me it is the small victories...

Today i shopped at my sdm store and noticed that they have started charging for plastic bags. I paid $0.05 for a shopping bag although i am not sure if it's eligible to get points or not.

Mine started charging several years ago, but it wasn't consistent. Sometimes I was charged, sometimes not. At this point I've been trained to remember my bags instead of forgetting them in the car

Lol. Actually i did have an extra grocery bag in the car because i was coming from rcss at that time and i did not use as many grocery bags as i had brought them from home.
But i didnt know my sdm has started charging for the bags. Personally, i dont think they should charge for the bags because it'san expensive store and all expensive stores do not charge for bags as of now. (Or maybe i need to go out more often)
Just think about it....someone going to a big sdm, buying lots of new shiny beautiful cosmetics and perfumes and putting them in their grocery bags...i just find it too funny for now.

I've always brought my own bags to Shoppers. I've been a loyal points collector since 2012 and my stores have always charged for bags.

I noticed the correction e-mail came quickly. Forgot that it might've been connected to the store computer glitch that day!

Some stores do and some don't. YMMV. My local store has swung both ways. 1 cent HST on those 5 cent bags...

Isn't it based on who owns the stores? Doesn't Loblaws charge for bags even though they are expensive store? (Correct me if I am wrong, but I only go there when they have sales.)

But I think it is a trend to encourage to use reusable bags.

There are no points for plastic bags,
In Ontario Sdm always charge 5 cents for a bag.
My local Sdm does not charge me for bags considering me as a loyal and regular customer 😉
