Surprised no one's mentioned micellar water. I used to think "Why would I pay for a bottle of water?" but this stuff is amazing. It completely stopped my skin from breaking out and having dry patches.

It apparently contains tiny molecules that dissolve oil and pigments without disrupting the skin's moisture. It's often on sale and you just need cotton pads - a bottle lasts forever and it ends up being way cheaper than makeup wipes. (Also you can control how much you use, if you only need to take off eye makeup you use one cotton pad and a bit of liquid. Compared to wasting a full wipe whether you need it or not)

I like Garnier's brand, the sensitive skin kind (pink lid) was a bit too moisturizing for my oily skin but the one with the green lid (oily formula) works great for me
