Wow that's so soon..end of the month, but if we get No Frills then we should be ok right? / Box is a No Frills brand so No Frills will have some of the same stuff + more? / I hope No Frills will have some quality meat...:/
I spoke with the cashier its closing and she will be working at nofrills I imagine its the same owner

The Box is listed in today's classified ad for the Hamilton Food Share as being a food donation drop-off location.
Found this very interesting "site plan" from the First Capital Realty website.

By the looks of it, No Frills will be closer and Fitness Depot further away, yay! for me, as it's quite a big plaza, and usually I'm on foot rushing to the nearest bus stop..so that helps a bit that No Frills is closer =) as I hoped it would be.
But also...it look's like there's still going to be another empty space between No Frills and Fitness Depot? does that mean there's going to be another store there? and I wonder what they're going to fill up the small "Box" location with :/ will miss that place.
I wish Vision Clinic would go/ I'v had nothing but horrible CS there.. :/
I find that plaza is really slow to add new tenants, they just don't have the draw some other plazas do. We saw it much fuller with Target because people are more likely to shop with a large anchor store in the plaza (same in WM plazas)
I imagine it may be easier to find a tenant for 26k than when they were attempting to fill the Target store in one go (already WM/CT nearby which are the only stores that big), just not sure who would want to go in there. I think most clothing stores would prefer Eastgate though, PetSmart just went in to Barton so can't see them, SDM probably would not with Rexall across the street and a larger store at Eastgate, Bulk Barn and GT are already local, 2 grocery stores mean a 3rd is unlikely.
It would be hard to add a hardware store as Canadian Tire is across the road as well.
If only the Bed Bath Warehouse would move into the better lit vacant space in Target. Their current site is not too well lit but aligns with the warehouse concept and it sells some Target stuff too.
If it's the same company "Smart Centres" looking to fill in the other spaces, then this is a list of their tenants, maybe it'll be one of these stores? (just wondering)

Most of these are within the area, either across the street or within 2 mins. to Eastgate..so I doubt it'll be anything that's already nearby...
/I was just looking at the Ancaster area? and they built a Fitness Depot there and beside it is a Starbucks.../ I hope there won't be one here..lol :)
Any idea when the NF opens (or is it since the map shows it)
Oh I actually heard while digging around the internet that both No Frills and Fitness Depot will open around the 2nd quarter of 2016.
The No Frills in the Delta is closing on April 9. The Spec article made no mention of the forthcoming No Frills store at Queenston and Nash, just the one at Centre on Barton plus the Metro there.

If the local residents who don't drive can get to a nearby Beeline bus stop, they'd be able to get to the Queenston store once it opens on one fare there and back.
