Our car was hit in a parking lot 3 weeks ago. We just get it back from the shop and in the same parking lot today someone dented the car on the other side when they opened their door and denied it though we clearly could tell they did it. Soooo frustrating!!!

What an awful coincidence. After the first time, I would have been parking very far away in the boonies where no one else parks!

I actually watched as a woman was putting her groceries away and her cart rolled and hit a truck and dented it. She quickly jumped in her vehicle and drive away fast. My van has been backed into a couple times last winter in parking lots. My van was like a target. We got the one dent out with a toilet plunger

That doesn't always help, I usually park as far away as possible(unless it's freezing cold or pouring rain and I have the toddler with me) and the only time I had my car dinged was parking far away lol.
OP that sucks, hopefully it's just cosmetic and didn't hurt anything!
