Guess the store chain wants to ensure shoppers carry through on the purchase by attaching a minimum purchase to the scratch card promo. What does the no purchase entry method suggest doing?

i get them adding a minimum..otherwise it's just all loss for them people buying small items and getting stuff for free, but the minimum is just a bit too high to makes me even think about using a card... i mean if it was minimum $10 i'd be checking out the flyer to see if htere was anything i needed.. but for $5 off 35, no thanks

This was a great promotion in the past. Loved the 5.00 off with no minimum purchase that they had before Christmas last year. Too pricey for me now. Thanks for posting. Hope someone wins something big.

Still good if you are planning on making a large purchase. Not everyone buys items that only cost $5 or less.

I agree that I can understand why they have the minimum purchase, I remember seeing people here bragging about doing 50 transactions and get all that stuff for free or for pennies. But $35 is a bit steep, I swear they had one last year where the minimum was $10 or 15, which I think is fair.

People abusing this like crazy is what got it changed. A piggy lady where I live got HUNDREDS of scratch cards one time and got a bunch of gift cards or something.

Both of mine were $5......used a super bright LED light to read through. Since I didn't need anything at CrappyTire and $5 isn't worth my time or gas, I threw them in the garbage.

i like this change. this happens when people abuse offers like that all the time.....going to each canadian tire multiple times and getting all for free. that's a loss for CT and not their fault and YOU(the ones that do that) are the ones that ruined it! "You" come here brag about how you abuse offers..... feel good about it.
