I"m still in awe that today is June..
I kinda miss May a little. although my horoscope was right on about it being a very 'accident prone' month for me.
lets hope June holds lots of wonderful surprises.. lol
up early this morning to get ds2 off for a trip.
then we'll be taking care of some business.
its so nice out. can't wait to enjoy the day.

Have a load ready to hang to dry. ( from yeasterday) And will be washing all blankets etc since they will dry quickly today. Need to make coffee now and get out of bed now and enjoy this great day!

Good Morning Everyone,
1st load of bedding is in the dryer (winter sheets to be folded and put away) second load (summer sheets) are in the washer. Going to run the dryer way more than I would I like but hanging laundry outside is not an option because my outdoor allergies.

I have quinoa soaking to be cooked up and keep in the fridge for use later this week, quinoa has become the new rice in our house if we have it left over in the fridge we can find a million uses for it. I have a few different new recipes I would like to try that have quinoa and so that will make them a bit quicker to make during the week as I won't have to make the quinoa first. Mom is not working this month so now I have to get her to agree to the recipes I want to make.

Today I need to clean up the kitchen and get some stuff ready for my lunches this week, not sure what my plan is yet for this. Also have to go and plant the veggies and herbs we bought yesterday. Have to finish the bedding. After this is done we will see how things go before I plan anything else.

Tonight we are going to have our first BBQ on the new BBQ, I am going to make Steak, Potatoes and roasted Zucchini, Eggplant, Peppers, Asparagus and whatever else I find in fridge.

Productive day so far. 1 bathroom cleaned. All,dry laundry put away. 3 loads out hanging to dry. Spare room sheets etc in wash. Kitchen totally cleaned. Car cleaned out. Now mama needs a shower. Stinky!

Wow, June already. My daughter informed me there are 14 school days before exams start. Sigh.

Decided to hit Giant Tiger this morning. Pulled in the driveway to see police cars everywhere. Just in time to see a guy handcuffed on the ground at gunpoint.

Off to work this evening. Good times!

Happy June everyone. This is going to be another month of using what we have/living off points. The reno is over and while we had saved up quite a bit we are still left with a chunk of on the LOC that I want to pay off as quick as we can. The reno also put lots of points on my PC Mastercard and my Airmiles so it will be more free groceries.
The house looks amazing so I don’t feel bad that we have some left to pay off. This is a super busy month and could be expensive month. DS #1 graduates from gr 8 & DH and I celebrate 20 yrs of wedded bliss. We opted not to do a vacation because the bulk of the reno was our space and that was what we both wanted. I have some GCs to the Keg and to Milestones so I think we will do dinner there to celebrate.

what a day here too. busy beavers. then i ended up napping, sun really takes a toll on me. dh cleaned the house while i slept.
now im making taters for dinner. and planning out the week.
