I've personally run out of "large" items to sell. Everything we have for sale now is under $100. I think most expensive is $80. I've gotten a lot of emails about certain items but then contact just stops for some reason on their end once I offer for them to come and get it. Oh well.

Definitely around spring time I expect things to sell quicker.

Hi! I sold the smaller ones for $3 each. A large size Skeetchers (sp) for $4. And we had a large one with I think it had 5 books in it for $7 (I paid 50 cents for it at a garage sale )))

I'm selling my blender that we rarely use, have a tag of $25 on it. I had a reply from someone yesterday:

Buyer: I'll pay $10 cash." (like I take Visa or something?)
Me: Meet me at $15 and it's a deal.
    Buyer: $10 cash.
Me: No thanks, $15 is the bottom line.
Buyer: I'm in the city, I can pick it up today, what is the address.
Me: I wouldn't be available until after 5, would that be OK?
    Buyer: What's the address?

Whole thing kind of gave me a weird feeling, so I just stopped responding. I don't want to give this person my address, with him knowing when I will (and won't!) be home. But aside from that, just had the wrong vibe.

Yeah and those are the people that seem to never show up. For low priced items I ask when they want to come and then tell them I will leave it in the door and they can leave the $ incase I step out. I do this all the time (even when home) so I don't have to deal with people. No one has ripped me off yet

After my daughter got her divorce she sold her engagement ring. But I have not sold anything.

I have ladies golf shoes and a snowboard without bindings but in Grey county no one wants them.

Finally sold DH's tool box. It was a steal of a deal. New $76+ sold for $30. Had lots of people interested in it but no one could get off their lazy behinds to come get it until tonight. Glad its gone, one less thing taking up space.

Luckily I had his permission. Our storage locker is mostly over flowing with stuff that we're trying to sell. Only a very small portion of stuff in there is for keeps.

Wow!! Score for you! I tried to sell my grad dress forever. We did it on kijiji, ebay and even a consignment store and no bites. It was a really nice dress too and that was when I was heck of a lot thinner so it was a common size. In the end the consignment store donated it to kids who couldn't afford dresses for school events so I was happy with that.
