Recently I sold 8 Wii games, a box of primitive home decor, a lululemon sweater and an HID ballast. In the past we have sold two vehicles and a lawn tractor. The vehicles sold the same day we posted them. The key is pricing items right.
I have also got many crazy good deals off kijiji. Mostly furniture(and an appliance). A few years back our above the range microwave died. I refused to pay $300 for a new one(as it was only just over 3 years old), so we lived without one(and survived) for 3 years. One day I thought I would give it a shot and check kijiji. Amazingly someone was selling the exact microwave for only $50. They had bought a house and wanted stainless and this one was black. I snapped that up fast. I always check kijiji first before buying anything now. Got my son brand new lacrosse gloves that someone bought and decided not to play lacrosse. They are $129 new in store and we got them for $50. Gotta love kijiji!!
Oh and I bought one of my Boxers off kijiji. I drove so far into the boon docks that even though she was hideously ugly and the last puppy left, I could not bring myself to say I wouldn't take her What she lacks in looks, she makes up for in loyalty. Lol.

Within the last 8 months we've sold about $3400 worth of stuff on kijiji. Its disgusting to think of how much stuff we had. And if that puts it into perspective imagine the amount of stuff we donated to salvation army and we also got rid of 75% of our stockpile to family & friends and then the rest went to the foodbank. We went from a 1300 square foot house to a 700 square foot house then after we moved we realised just how much more stuff we had to get rid of.
We still have tons to sell but no buyers and it has nothing to do with price. We are priced lower for everything then compareable items listed, its just the fact that our new place requires people to drive further.
One thing I do miss is being able to sell items for $5 or $10 as most people have to spend that or more in gas money to get to our place.
Also going to admit I'm really sick and tired of people messaging me asking if items are still available (the ad is there isn't it?!), asking questions that are answered in the ad, no shows, etc. It does take a lot of time and effort to list stuff on kijiji if you have lots to unload but since neither of us are working now we have that time.Insert Clever Signature Here

We sold our air conditioner tonight for $175. We had 4 different people interested in it so I guess we should have listed it higher. Oh well, glad to have it gone. The comparable ones listed were asking $300.
Now we have a bit more space! But getting space back is so addicting, it makes me want to just give everything away. I'm sure others can relate.Insert Clever Signature Here

I have not had any luck selling on Kijiji but I have bought some shelving units and a covered material wardrobe to store out-of-season clothing. We have also moved to a smaller home but we have an unfinished basement where I can organize my stockpile and also where I can store things until I can get around to listing things.

Most definitely will pick up around September. I find the best months to sell things are November and December. There are a lot of people who buy second hand for christmas presents.
Worst time is spring/summer. Spring time everyone is clearing out and trying to get rid of stuff. Summer is bad because a lot of people go away on vacation or are just busy in general with kids and the like.Insert Clever Signature Here
